Our little Calvin was born on January 8, 2010. He was 7lbs 5oz, 19 1/2 inches long. He has lots of dark brown hair and has been a mellow baby so far. He is named after his great grandfather who passed away last January. We chose Gabriel because we love the meaning (God is my strength)
I started having contractions on the night of Dec. 28. Brett and I headed to Ogden the next morning to see if I was in labor. My doctor was really worried because I was only 36 weeks and if I had the baby he would most likely end up in the NICU. She gave me medicine to stop the contractions and told me I should stay close by just in case. Brett had to go back to work and get back to the kids so he went home. I stayed with my sister-in-law Char(thankyou so much Char for being there for me) for the next 10 days. It was really hard for meto be away from my family for that long, but it's a good thing I stayed because from the time I knew I was in labor to the time I delivered was about 1 1/2 hours. I saw my doctor Thursday afternoon and she told me I would most likely deliver in the next 3 days so Brett came down Thursday night. It's a good thing because he wouldn't have made it either. I got to the hospital at around 4:00am. They had to admit me, put me in a a room to monitor me, ask me 100 questions, finally put me in a labor and delivery room, ask me 100 more questions, give me an iv, and draw blood before they could give me an epidural. Needles to say I was at a 10 before they could give me anything. They were finally able to give me a spinal, which gave me quite a bit of relief. I was still able to feel him come out(which now I think is kind of cool since he is my last baby) He was born at 5:15am.
In the 10 days I was gone, Jamen decided it was time for him to start walking(at 14 1/2 months)
I will have to post pictures later. My internet is still too slow to upload pictures.

Christmas 2009
We spent Christmas with Brett's family again this year. It was really nice and so much fun for the kids. They love to play with their cousins! Dallin got a car stereo, speakers, and a remote start. Unfortunately, he had taken his car to Jiffy Lube the Saturday before Christmas, they broke off the oil sending unit and didn't say anything. His engine seized 2 days before Christmas. Anyway, Kaden got an Ipod, nice snow boots, and some other odds and ends. Easton and Dawson got a Wii with a few games, some Duplos, and a couple of movies and Jay received a few toys.

Jamen's 1st Birthday
Jay turned 1 on October 25th. I have been waiting to post about it until I can download pictures, but if I wait any longer I will probably forget things. We celebrated Jay's b-day on Saturday instead of Sunday because Dallin had a Stake Youth Fireside he was speaking at, and Jamen does not know the difference. We had another family staying with us with their 5 children, so there were plenty of people to sing to him. We gave him a cupcake and let him go to town.
Jay has 6 teeth, he is crawling(in no hurry to walk)loves to play with his brothers(his favorite is Kaden) He has brought so much joy to our family and we all love him so much!
Happy Birthday Jamen!!
I'll post pictures later.

Homecoming and Priesthood Session
Dallin had homecoming on the same night as General Priesthood. So Brett, Dallin and Kaden went to the session then Dallin went out afterwards.

Dallin and his friends asked the girls in a fun way. They had Brett make a cd for each girl. In the cd Brett said the girls were each being asked by a secret agent to go to the dance and it was there job to find out who the agents were. So the girls didn't find out till that night exactly who there dates were(they had a good idea of the group, but not who "they" were going with) Brett picked them up wearing the mask and break dancing on thier lawns. Half of the girls were scared to come out because they had no idea who it was. They found out when they got to the resturant who there dated were.
In our town Homecoming is not a big deal. Most kids wore jeans and t-shirts to the dance, so these guys were really dressed up.Dallin and Annie

Fort Bridger Rendezvous
I finally broke down and took my kids to the Rendezvous this year. They have held it every Labor Day weekend for who knows how long (brett went when he was little) I have lived here for 3 years and been up here on many a Labor Day weekends and never attended. I didn't really care to see a bunch of drunk people running around in loincloths. Well, I was wrong. There were still of few in the loincloths, but for the most part it was really cool. The boys LOVED it, and I even enjoyed it.
