Fort Bridger Rendezvous

I finally broke down and took my kids to the Rendezvous this year. They have held it every Labor Day weekend for who knows how long (brett went when he was little) I have lived here for 3 years and been up here on many a Labor Day weekends and never attended. I didn't really care to see a bunch of drunk people running around in loincloths. Well, I was wrong. There were still of few in the loincloths, but for the most part it was really cool. The boys LOVED it, and I even enjoyed it.

So many people dressed up, I think I enjoyed that part the most.

Dawson's 6th Birthday

Dawson turned 6 on August 20th. He had a quiet party this year with just our family. He also got a bike, building blocks, Tinker Toys, some art supplies and a few other things.

Coulter Bay and Yellowstone

Brett's family went to Yellowstone National Park in July. Unfortunately Dallin's had youth camp the same weekend so we were not able to go (I had to take him and 6 other youth down to Monticello, Ut)

Brett was quite brave to take all the kids(even Jay) by himself. We were thinning he would have plenty of help, but Jamen would not go to anyone except for my sister-in-law Char. It looks like it was so much fun! I am sad I missed out (not to mention 5days without my baby drove me absolutely nuts)

Easton's 7th Birthday

Easton turned 7 on June 2. He had his party at the Mountain View Town park. He had several friends and family come. He got a bike, Star Wars Legos, and lots of other toys.

T-ball (way back in May)

Easton and Dawson were both able to play T-Ball on the same team this year. Easton was really into the game as usual. When he was pitcher, he caught the ball in mid-air, and made several base outs. He was really upset that they didn't call outs in T-Ball. He is very excited to play "real" baseball next year. As for Dawson; he showed more interest than I thought. As you can see by the pictures, he does not show as much interest as Easton.
