Valentines Day

This year Brett and I celebrated the day before Valentines. Dallin babysat everyone except for Jamen(we took him with us) We went to Salt Lake and met Sterling and Char for dinner and dessert. Then we went over to our friends Aaron and Amy's house. We have not seen them for about 6 years! It was through Aaron and Amy's example that I became a member and Brett came back to the Church. They are an amazing family and we are deeply grateful for their friendship.
Dallin went to the local high school's Valentines dance on Saturday. He had a blast Waltzing the night away with his friend Megan. Oh, Jamen also laughed for the first time on Valentines Day. It was really cute!

Maybe this....maybe that

So the Dr called tonight. I guess 2 different Radiologists looked at the scans. Whatever they were concerned about is looking more like fluid today and not like a mass. The Radiologist is thinking it could be Crohns Disease or Inflammatory Bowel Disease(since both run in my family) I think they are maybe guessing, but I am not sure. I also have 3 Kidney Stones. They told me to follow up in 2 weeks, but there is now way I am waiting that long. It is possible it could be a Fistula(fairly common in people with either disease). If that is the case they "can "be life threatening. Anyway, I am not waiting. I am going to try and get in ASAP with a Gastrointerologist. I just want to be sure they are not misdiagnosing me. If they are right it is definitely better than having the "C" word. I will keep everyone informed. Thankyou for all of your thoughts and prayers. I know without a doubt they have made a difference!

My Crazy Life

Things have been a little crazy around here. Three weeks ago I was having pain in my back. I thought maybe I had a Kidney Stone, but it ended up being a UTI. My Dr. put me on a Sulpha Antibiotic, which I guess is one of the best for treating UTI and Bladder infections. About 5 days later I started having severe pains in my stomach and pelvic area, and later that same day I was having a very hard time breathing(it was painful)I went to see a different Dr to see what was going on. She said I was wheezing; my airways were closing off. She wasn't sure why(I forgot to mention the antibiotic I was taking)She put me on steroids to help me to breathe better. Later that day I started breaking out in a rash. I went to the dr again the next day trying to figure out what the heck was going on. Brett went with me this time and reminded me about the meds I had been taking. I guess I am severely allergic to Sulpha and if she hadn't put me on Steroids the day before I would have ended up in the hospital...or worse. Anyway the hives finally went away, but the stomach and pelvic pain got worse. I went to the Dr again. She sent me in for another Urine analysis, which came back completly normal. She then sent me in for an ultrasound which came back not so normal. Yesterday I had a Catscan. They found a 6x9 cm mass between my bladder and uteris. The Radiologist wants a better look, so I
go back in for another scan on Monday morning. He is checking to see if it has gone into the Lymphnodes. After that I will be schduled to have it is removed. I will try to update when I find out.

Jamen's Blessing

Jamen was blessed on Feb 1. It was really nice. Brett's whole family came down from Utah.
Can you believe how much Dawson and Jamen look alike? I finally had 2 kids that look alike!
