Christmas morning Brett's mom woke us up. The kids were sound asleep, but they were more then happy to wake up. Dallin and Kaden both got snowboarding coats, Easton and Dawson both got Stars Wars action figures and games for their new Playstation 3 that Grandpa Steve bought for them. It was nice and the kids had a blast opening their presents with their cousins. Grandma Vickie lined the kids up youngest to oldest to open their gifts. This was Easton and Dawson's first year to spend Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Benincosa's house.
The 2 last pictures are of Brett's Grandpa Calvin and Grandma Virginia. The day after Christmas we were over at Sterling and Char's house. We had forgotten Jamen's formula at his mom's house, so Brett went back to grab it. When Brett got to his mom's, he found his grandpa had fainted and hit his head on the granite counter top. His head wad bloody, his glasses and watch had broken. Brett called the ambulance and Cal was taken to the hospital. They stiched up his head and kept him over night to keep an eye on him. The hospital said he was okay to go home on Saturday. Sunday he fell 2 more times. They took him to the hospital again; where they found that the blood vessels in his brain had torn loose from his skull, and his brain was hemreging. There is nothing that they can do for him. He will most likely pass away in the next couple of days.
We are so thankful for being able to spend Christmas with him. I just wish I wouldn't have ignored the nagging feeling I had to take pictures of them with my children. Why is it that we so often ignore those kind of promptings?? Hopefully I will learn to listen a little better.

Looks like a great holdiay. Where are you in all of this?
Jamen looks a little like Dawson.
Sarah looks like Olivia from the nose down. We thought she looked a little like Brinley when she was first born, but no.
