Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
Things have been crazy around here as usual. Jamen has been diagnosed with severe reflux and Kaden has Shingles. I guess you can catch Chicken Pox from Shingles, so I'm just praying Jamen does not get them.
Fun,fun!

A night at the hospital
Yesterday I took Jamen to the doctor. I was a little worried because he was still losing weight and looking yellow. When the pediatrician
saw him, I could tell by the look on her face she was freaked out. She immediatly sent me over to the hospital to have blood work done on Jamen. His biliruben(?) points were about 20, and she admitted him to the hospital. He was also dehydrated, and still a pound down from his birth weight. We spent about 24 hours there with him. They tested his blood again this morning and his points were down to 15. She let us go home, even though they are still high(normal is about 6) and I will take him back on Monday morning. Hopefully his points continue to fall.

More pictures of Jamen
isn't he precious?
My mom with Jamen

Dawson is so excited to be a big brother

My nephew Jose came to visit in the hospital....he was really nervous to hold him, he was afraid he was going to break him.

All the kids are very excited about the baby...When we first announced to the kids that we were going to have another one, Dallin immediately said he was moving out. Now he can't wait to show him off! He was disappointed that we were not going to church today so everyone could see him.

Me tired.....no not at all! I didn't sleep much for the last 36 hours

(maybe 3 hours total) I came home and took a nap and woke up looking like this. I could hardly see my eyes were so swollen!
All in all it was a great experience. We left our house about midnight on the 25th, I was pretty sure I was in labor so we decided we better get on the road if we were going to make it to Ogden.

After a half hour on the road my contractions were about 2 1/2 minutes apart(not really painful though) I called the hospital in Ogden and they told me I should stop in Evanston to be checked.
So we stopped, they checked me and told me I was not going anywhere because I was at a 4 1/2.
My contractions had slowed down a bit, but I was too far dialated to let me go. By the timed the Anetheseologist got there and gave me the epidral I was already at a 9 plus. The epidural didn't even take until after he was born...let me tell you thatt giving birth naturally is not easy. In fact, it was by far worse than I ever thought it could be (I totally admire you Heather)

I am glad everything turned out the way it did though, he is here and healthy and I couldn't ask for anything more.
